TG Sandhausen Herren 2 worked their game plan for a second victory in an away game with TV Schwetzingen. The “Wild Bees” had a game plan to spread the defense of Schwetzingen and allow the post players, Jannic Gund (18) and Ronny Oestringer (4) to rebound and get lay-ups inside their defense. With 3 point shooting from Andreas Bohn (14), Nils Uhrig (17) and Nils Herzog (3), Schwetzingen slowly felt the swarm overtake them to come away with a 73:52 win. “The team pulled together to work as a unit to play a tough defensive game, which worked to our advantage, and we see “team” is the way to go” stated Coach Wicks.

The Herren 2 “Wild Bees “ran into a defensive bump at its first home game at Hardtwaldhalle. Struggling to find a good offensive balance, the “Wild Bees” defense could not find a right combination of gears to overcome the 3 point shooting of Rohrbach. Offensively trying to battle back into the game, made the defense falter on several occasions which allowed the visiting team to hold a offensive edge to come again with a victory 86:73. The “Wild Bees” will be working hard to get all gears in motion and looking to be heading full steam in the upcoming games. Point production for this game from all players on the court: T. After a long summer wait the TG Sandhausen “Wild Bees “ Herren2 started their new season against Tauberbischofsheim with a road win of 101:80. The “Wild Bees“ began the game with their buzzing defense to have their opponents down 32:17 after the first quarter. Struggling with fouls trouble the game became a question mark with a halftime score of 46:33. But after changing their game plan and taking control of the tempo and pace of the game the Herren2 began to set the tone for the final score.

Herren Herren 2Auch im Rückspiel der Relegation zur Oberliga zogen die Herren2 um Coach Andreas Bommer den Kürzeren: in der engen und gut besuchten Halle in Berghausen kassierten sie mit 93:77 eine am Ende zu hohe Niederlage. Beim guten Spiel beider Mannschaften dominierten bei der TG die unter dem Korb und an der Freiwurflinie vergebenen Punkte, bei den Gastgebern war einmal mehr Center Taal der 'Herrscher' unter den Körben.
