Bezirksliga-Herren: “Wild Bees“ swarm for second victory 12.10.15 - 08:50

TG Sandhausen Herren 2 worked their game plan for a second victory in an away game with TV Schwetzingen. The “Wild Bees” had a game plan to spread the defense of Schwetzingen and allow the post players, Jannic Gund (18) and Ronny Oestringer (4) to rebound and get lay-ups inside their defense. With 3 point shooting from Andreas Bohn (14), Nils Uhrig (17) and Nils Herzog (3), Schwetzingen slowly felt the swarm overtake them to come away with a 73:52 win. “The team pulled together to work as a unit to play a tough defensive game, which worked to our advantage, and we see “team” is the way to go” stated Coach Wicks. “We still have a full season ahead and the more we play, the better we know each other. We are looking for a strong finish this year”. There was a full supporting role of all the players who entered the game to shut down Schwetzingen offense and show them our “swarm” defense.
